The O2-MAX intake filter, which is standard with every O2-MAX will provide bacterial and viral protection to patients. The viral efficiency of the O2-MAX intake filter is 99.999%, which is effective in protecting against viruses similar to COVID-19.
The O2-RESQ inline filter (313-7043), is an optional inline filter for the O2-MAX system designed to provide bacterial and viral protection for care providers. The O2-RESQ filter is placed between the BiTrac ED Mask and O2-MAX circuit. The viral efficiency of the O2-RESQ inline filter is 99.9998% which is effective in protecting against viruses similar to COVID-19.
If you do not have the 313-7043 filter available, but have the 301-435 filter. This is another option for an inline filter for the O2-MAX system designed to provide the same bacterial and viral protection as the 313-7043 filter. The 301-435 filter is placed between the BiTrac ED Mask, then utilizes a 313-8184 adapter, then connected to the O2-MAX circuit. The viral efficiency of the 301-435 filter is 99.9998% which is effective in protecting against viruses similar to COVID-19.
A. No. We only sell our products exclusively through distribution. Visit our distribution page to find a distributor in your area.
A. Yes and No. Yes you could nebulize, but we recommend against nebulizing while an exhalation filter is in line. The filter will filter out the medication, minimizing the affect to the patient. If you need to nebulize, you can add a T-piece in front of the filter. This would sit between the mask and the filter.
A. The normal average flows of the O2-MAX are around 125-140LPM. When the filter is attached, the flows decrease about 5LPM. This is based off of the bacterial and viral filters.
A. Though the filter will connect to the GO-PAP. We recommend the O2-MAX with an exhalation filter the best option for COVID-19 patients.
